WEEKLY UPDATE 2/6/12
Tuesday (Tonight) is "Picture Night" and there will be regular practice for Wednesday
and Thursday. After pictures tonight, we will have regular practice for the 2nd session
(older group) and any others that wish to stay.

"Picture Night" Please have your wrestler at Franklin School by 6:45pm tonight for
pictures. Make sure they wear their singlet and bring any medals earned for individual
photos. NO MEDALS WILL BE WORN FOR THE TEAM PHOTO. Photo envelopes
were distributed so please have them filled out and ready to go. There will be extra
ones at the school for those who did not get one.

Our league "Novice Tournament" is going to be held this Sunday, February 12, 2012 @
the Fort Lee Community Center, 1355 Inwood Terrace, Fort Lee, NJ. This is a split
session tournament with the 08U Division starting at 9am (have wrestlers there at 8am)
and the 10U/12U/14U Divisions starting at approximately 1pm (have wrestlers there no
later than 12:15pm). This tournament is for 1st and 2nd year wrestlers only. Any 2nd
year wrestler that EARNED a medal in last years Novice or District Tournaments is NOT
eligible. "EARNED" means that the wrestler won at least 1 match at the tournament
they medalled in. Weigh ins for the tournament will be on Thursday, February, 9, 2012
@ Lyndhurst Recreation Center - 862 Valley Brook Ave. – Lyndhurst, NJ 07071,
Located at the intersection of Valley Brook Avenue and Polito Road. Have all wrestlers
there at 6pm. This is a "League" tournament and the fee is $15 per wrestler which will
be paid by our program. I will send out an email to all eligible wrestlers later today. I
need to know by 6pm on Wednesday if your wrestler will participate.

Our final match of the season is this Saturday @ Fair Lawn High School. This match is
an afternoon match starting at 1pm. Please have all wrestlers there by 12:30pm.

Dinner Dance is this Saturday night. If you have not yet purchased your tickets, please
see Bruce Celenza.
